Task 7 - SFX


My chosen company is Millennium FX.

They create work for film, television, commercials, music promos, theatre and corporate projects.

Millennium FX’s directors, Neill Gorton and Rob Mayor, are multi-award winning artists, with numerous BAFTA and Royal Television Society awards across make-up and special effects categories. Working with them are SFX Producers Kate Walshe and Karen Spencer, Administration by Martina Hawkins, in house design by Chris Goodman along with a team of the industry's best designers, technicians and artists.

They have created work for popular films such as; Saving private ryan, The Wolfman and Gravity and Frankenstein. Also television productions such as; Doctor Who and the Catherine Tate Show.

Their range of work has included prosthetic character make-ups, animatronic and creature effects work, speciality costumes and puppets, prosthetic medical and gore effects, consultation work, design and also industry training.
